By.network Presents Current Flow: A New Spin on the NYC Listening Experience

Last Sunday, July 20th, Smoove and Bynetwork hosted an exclusive outdoor listening experience in the heart of Williamsburg, NYC. The event was a refreshing twist on the traditional showcase format, giving rising NYC talent a space to share unreleased music in an open-air, community-focused setting.

Instead of live performances, artists took a more intimate route—playing their unreleased tracks in a casual, immersive environment reminiscent of a private studio session. Guests had the chance to connect directly with the music while enjoying the summer energy of Brooklyn.

The lineup featured some of NYC’s most promising talent, including Fergie Baby (featured in Issue 4 of KUT Magazine as an artist to watch), Hurri Haran (featured on the cover of Issue 3 of KUT Magazine as an artist to watch) Cosi Pari, London Hill, Abby Jasmine, SAFA, T-13, and many more. Upcoming media outlets were also in attendance, conducting interviews and capturing exclusive behind-the-scenes content.

When asked what prompted her to throw this event Smoove left us with this answer:

It being my first activation in New York City it was high on my priority list to source my favorite artist who are also some of my coolest friends too. A cultivated space of sources that live in and around New York City, whether that be writers consumers players, A&R’s, producers, engineers, and just average consumers to uplift the community connect the community And really show the community that it’s very important to me that we network across versus aim to network up and being disappointed. I knew via who I included in the space that it was going to be nothing besides bery intentional, supportive and positive conversation and that everybody was going to leave happy. I feel like this was a great first activation of that I’m very very very grateful for that.”

In true NYC fashion, food and drinks elevated the experience—guests enjoyed burgers from the iconic 7th Street Burger and THC-infused beverages from WYNK, adding a flavorful and laid-back element to the night.

This event was more than a listening session—it was a celebration of community, creativity, and collaboration. Stay tuned for exclusive interviews and footage from the event dropping soon on our YouTube channel.
