McFly Fest 2025: Mugzy McFly Brings the Bronx Out for a Day of Music, Style, and Community

This past Sunday, the Bronx showed up and showed out for McFly Fest 2025, the annual summer celebration founded by Bronx designer, artist, and entrepreneur Mugzy McFly.

Held on the football field at Mount St. Michael Academy, the event was a full day of music, fashion, and local pride, rooted in community and Black excellence.

The festival grounds were packed with vendors showcasing entrepreneurship from the Bronx and beyond. From food and drinks to clothing, jewelry, and self-care products, it was a space that centered small businesses and creatives doing it for the culture.

Things kicked off was a kid’s fashion show that Mugzy made sure to spotlight. Young models hit the runway with confidence and personality, showing love to the next generation and reminding everyone what this event is really about.

As the day transitioned into the evening, the stage lit up with performances that brought all kinds of energy. Host Shiggy kept the crowd entertained while introducing a strong lineup of artists. Bianca Bonnie took everyone back with her early 2000s classic Chicken Noodle Soup, bringing back childhood memories and pure nostalgia.

Bronx artist Zeddy Will headlined with a high energy set, bringing out producer and artist Cash Cobain, followed by collaborator Chow Lee. Dizzy Banko also performed as one of the evening’s headliners, giving the crowd that signature New York sound. He was joined by Philly’s own Lihtz, who performed his new single Crash Out, which had the crowd fully tuned in.

Another standout was Trillian, the son of hip-hop legend Busta Rhymes, who brought his own flavor to the stage and proved he’s carving out his own path. The night also featured sets from several emerging artists, giving fresh talent real visibility in front of a supportive crowd.

The vibe? Chill, fun, and all love. No drama, no nonsense, just music, food, creativity, and good people. Mugzy McFly continues to build something special with McFly Fest. It’s more than an event, it’s a statement, and if this year was any sign, next year’s fest is already one to look forward to.
