“to do what one wants, while others do what they can”
Boston’s Oompa makes her return to our page with new track and visual for “LEBRON”. Oompa pays homage to legendary hooper/actvist/businessman LeBron James. Oompa even repurposed the “LeBron” to a verb in honor of Jame’s resiliency despite the odds.
The track harps just on that as Oompa flexes that others do what they can and she simply does what she wants.
To me, it’s not about the everyday victory; it’s the commitment to the long haul. To the joy of giving your craft everything you have for as long as you can. It is finding victory in going above your own limitations so that you can get what you want. That’s what I mean when I say, “I Lebron.”

LEBRON is part of a series of ten thematic visuals shared from Oompa’s forthcoming album “UNBOTHERED”.
