2021 “R&B ARTIST TO WATCH”, REGGIE BECTON, Releases New SINGLE “ISSUES” Ahead Of “California” Project

Dubbed one of Apple Music’s 2021 “Artists We’ll Love,” independent R&B singer-songwriter Reggie Becton, is set to released the first single off his highly anticipated debut full-length album, California. “Issues” is Reggie’s first new music since 2020’s “Thank You For Listenin’ EP,”.

“Issues” is inspired by a relationship the Maryland native left behind before moving out to Los Angeles in 2016.

Throughout college, I was in a situationship with a girl I met in high school, and from the inception of our relationship we were always having ‘issues,’ says Reggie. Through the years we would always reconnect but go nowhere. The final collision in our ‘traffic’ came the night before I moved to LA. At that time, I think I was in such a fragile state due to preparing for this big move, not knowing how things would turn out, leaving family and friends behind, that when she didn’t come to see me, I was hurt.
