Memphis superstar Pooh Shiesty has made a triumphant return to the top of the music charts following the surprise release of his acclaimed project, All Eyes On Shiest.
Despite controversy surrounding the project and Shiesty’s ongoing conflict with Gucci Mane, the 16-track album has made an immediate impact, earning 51,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
The project debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 while securing the No. 1 spot on both the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts.
And that’s just the first week.
The momentum surrounding All Eyes On Shiest was propelled by the release of hard-hitting records and Shiesty’s highly anticipated return. “Last Man Breathin” helped set the tone for release week, while his collaboration with GloRilla on “MANE” added another major moment to the rollout.
His RIAA Platinum-certified comeback anthem “FDO” also continued to play a major role in keeping Shiesty’s name at the forefront.
During release week, Pooh Shiesty and K Carbon also released the official video for their collaboration “New One,” giving fans another visual to accompany the project.
Beyond the Billboard numbers, All Eyes On Shiest dominated streaming platforms during its opening week, collecting more than 65 million total streams and making its presence felt across multiple digital charts.
The project also made major moves on Apple Music, landing at No. 1 across all genres as well as No. 1 on the Hip-Hop Albums chart. It also held the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Over on iTunes, All Eyes On Shiest secured the No. 1 Overall Album position while also claiming the No. 1 and No. 2 spots among the best-selling Hip-Hop albums. Meanwhile, “Reap What You Sow” reached No. 1 on YouTube’s Trending Videos chart with an audio-only visual, adding another accomplishment to an already impressive release week.
But the numbers only tell part of the story.
Musically, All Eyes On Shiest gives Shiesty an opportunity to remind listeners why his distinctive Memphis sound connected with fans in the first place. The production lineup includes Tay Keith, TP808 and Mike & Keys, while guest appearances come from GloRilla, Sexyy Red, K Carbon, BIG30 and Baby Slime.
