Former Nickelodeon star Leon Thomas has evolved into one of the most distinctive voices and creative forces in modern R&B. Elsewhere, “Baccarat” continues the rock-infused energy (hinting that a “rockstar era” might be on the horizon), while “Feel Alive” offers a brief yet beautiful burst of soul. The closer, “Lone Wolf” featuring 4batz, ties it all together with the smooth, moody sound fans have come to expect from Leon Thomas.
