Drill Pioneer 22Gz Releases New Single and Visual For ‘Sniper Gang Freestyle Pt.2’
Brooklyn Drill pioneer, 22Gz continues his run of releasing new singles. With newly released ‘Sniper Gang Freestyle Pt.2’. 22Gz casts a long shadow over the genre. Showcasing a one-of-kind combination of menacing melodies and razor-sharp rhymes. A new release from 22Gz wouldn’t be the same without a visual to go along with it. Therefore, it is only right that a visual accompanied the release.
The release comes on the cusp of ‘Up N Stuck (Feat. Kodak Black)’. First released in March 2021, ‘The Blixky Tape 2’ is highlighted by the popular single, ‘Twirlanta’. The hugely popular single earned millions of worldwide streams as well as over 10 million views on Youtube.
Furthermore, 22Gz kept the fire going with with a pair of bangers with ‘Retaliation’ and ‘Steppers’. Earlier this year, we also saw the release of previous singles ‘Spin’, ‘Keep A Blixky’ and ‘Omerta (Feat. COACHDAGHOST)’. As a result, 22Gz decided to release a deluxe version of his blockbuster 2021 mixtape.

A deal with Sniper Gang in partnership with Atlantic Records kicked off 2019’s original ‘The Blixky Tape’. Followed by ‘Growth & Development’ a year later. As well as the RIAA certified gold single ‘Suburban Pt.2’. Now boasting over 33 million views on YouTube.
Furthermore, ‘The Blixky Tape 2 (Deluxe)’ features beats curated by a small group of top domestic and international producers. Including Reazy Renegade, Ghosty, Young Dza, Zacky Beatz, and more.
Now available via Sniper Gang/ Atlantic the project is filled with explosive tracks. ‘The Blixky Tape 2 (Deluxe)’ includes hits ‘Blixky Gang Freestyle Pt.2’, ‘Movie (Feat. COACHDAGHOST)’, ‘Casa’, ‘Never Be The Same (Feat. Jackboy)’, and ‘Fallen Blixkys.’
