Karlae, the first lady of Young Thug’s Young Stoner Life Records, is ready to unveil her debut mixtape, “ENTER”. Last month Karlae released her debut single, Blind,” featuring Lil Yachty from the forthcoming debut mixtape.

Today, Karlae returns with a new track & visual for “Did That”, give her fans another look into her new tape.

“Did That” was written by Karlaeproduced by Plaza and samples Kool & the Gang’s Hollywood Swinging“. The music video was directed by Sam McKnight and draws inspiration from the classic Mase record “Feel So Good.” Christian Combs makes an apperance in the video as well, carrying on the Bad Boy Legacy.

The overall vibe of the “Did That” visual is an ode to Black fashion, music and culture in the 90s. The blonde hair that you see Karlae is reminiscent of female HipHop style icons like Mary J. Blige and Lil Kim.

“Did That is a glossy record letting everyone know I’m doing my thing. I’m giving myself my flowers,” says Karlae. “In the song, I say “ima need a pat on the back.” I’m giving myself props and praise for killing this sh*t.”
