Seattle’s Highway Drops New “Count Fast Untitled” EP

Highway is putting on for Seattle. The city doesn’t have a huge music scene but there’s always an artist or two who stand out regardless of where they’re from. Highway is that artist for his city. I originally got on to Highway after hearing “Another Plane” off of his “The Way” project which released earlier this year.

To me Highway is what you get when you put Playboi Carti, Lucki & Gunna in a blender. That’s not to compare him to anyone but that’s the best way to describe his sound to me. The best thing about Highway’s music is his usage of melodies. The melodic flows can get boring after a while due to the lack of originality but that’s not the case here.

Highway uses those melodies to tell his story in compelling fashion. “Count Fast Untitled” is a glimpse into Highway’s potential as an artist. As Highway continues to grow, I’m excited to hear more from him.
