Back in 2017, Dave East released the first installment of his Karma series a project that quickly became a fan favorite and was widely regarded as one of his best. Since then, the Harlem MC has delivered a steady stream of albums and mixtapes, but he’s always stayed consistent with the Karma brand that helped define his sound.
Fast forward eight years later, and East returns with Karma 4, the latest addition to the series and what I personally think is his best work in a while.

The project is 26 songs deep (with a few skits and an outro so a little less) and features a wide array of features and vibes showing growth and versatility in Dave East’s sound and production.
Standout tracks include “Bottega Trunks” featuring Stove God Cooks, “Met Gala” featuring Key Glock, “Ahki Store” (a personal favorite), “Respectfully,” “Winning Feel Better” featuring Wiz Khalifa, “Bus Stop” featuring Mozzy, and “12 Months” featuring Nipsey Hussle.
While Karma 4 is packed with highlights, the lengthy tracklist might feel a bit overwhelming at times. Still, given how selective East is with releases, dropping a full-length project like this feels intentional giving fans plenty to hold them over until his next drop.
To top it off, East recently blessed listeners with a visual for “12 Months,” one of the album’s standout records.
Overall, Karma 4 is a strong addition to Dave East’s discography a reminder of his consistency, lyricism, and ability to evolve while staying true to his roots.
