Texas Artist Ro$ama Shines On 7 Track EP “Orange Tape”.

Ro$ama is an a emerging rapper born in Paris, Texas who has been on his grind for some years. Ro earned his first solo recognition with his song “FedEx,” recorded while he worked for the delivery company.

Growing up with fellow Texas star rapper BigXtheplug, Paris decided to sign to with Big X’s 600 ENT. label, joining X and Yung Hood to create the collaborative EP MEET THE 6IXERS in Summer 2024. The acclaimed EP is home to the blockbuster title track (which has 52 million streams on Spotify, 6.1 million YouTube views), “Hell Yea,” and “Steppa Music,”

Last summer, Ro and BigX collaborated for “Beast Mode,” a highlight from the official soundtrack of the blockbuster film Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Ro also joined X on his Fall 2024 “Take Care Tour,” performing as a supporting act on dates across the nation. The duou are on tour once again this year, hitting Dreamville Fest and Coachella, where Ro joined BigX on stage to perform “Meet The 6ixers” and other hits.

With all that moment Ro felt it was only right to bless fans with some new work, in seven track EP “Orange Tape”.

The project features seven songs that encompasses the sounds that has taken over Dallas and is the representation of the state musically. Mixing modernized chopped soulful samples with a classic southern flow, Ro’s Orange Tape was a good listen.

“Blueprint”, “Show Me The Money” & “Pipe Down” are my favorites from the project and the one’s I’ve had on repeat the most.
