Dizzy Banko’s Adjustments 2.0 (Review)

Taking us along his Journey into a Rap Star

The Bronx’s own Dizzy Banko returns with Adjustments 2.0 Deluxe, the follow-up to his Adjustments tape from November 2024. Known for his elite production skills, Banko is stepping further into the spotlight as a rapper, proving he’s more than just the man behind the beats.

Spanning 14 tracks, the LP showcases Banko’s lyrical ambitions alongside his signature nostalgic yet versatile production. He enlists a strong lineup of New York artists, including Jim Jones affiliate Keen Streetz and frequent collaborator T.J. Brown, an actor-turned-rapper known from Netflix’s The Get Down. The chemistry between Banko and his features is undeniable, making for a dynamic listen.

While Adjustments 2.0 delivers plenty of solid records, it lacks a cohesive narrative, feeling more like a collection of strong individual tracks rather than a fully realized concept album. That said, the music itself is undeniably good, reinforcing why Banko remains one of NYC’s most in-demand producers. As he continues evolving as an artist, we’re excited to see what’s next.
