Offset Releases Toxic Love Song, “TEN”

With Valentine’s Day recently passing by, so many artists have done their fair share to try and capitalize on the holiday with a new release. Going against the grain, Offset decided to release a breakup-themed track titled “TEN.” This unexpected diss song to his ex-wife, Cardi B, takes listeners behind the curtain of their failed relationship.

While everyone else was using this day to profess their love, Offset seemed to be on a different type of time. This calculated move was certainly no coincidence and clearly something he had been plotting for some time now. The sentiment that there are three sides to a story absolutely applies to the situation as Offset gets to tell his biased side about their breakup by not having any type of accountability.

Sonically, “TEN” does sound good and does possess a lot of replay value. In fact, some might say this track sounds better than the majority of the music on his last album, “SET IT OFF,” off the strength of how raw it is. Offset is at his best when he’s not giving a f*ck, and that’s the energy he’s bringing back on “TEN.”

It was certainly a sight to see Offset channeling his past self and hopefully, he continues to build off of it and revert to his old ways.
