Long Beach alternative R&B artist Tempest is taking us on a wild ride to “The Ranch” with her new single featuring Amindi.
“The Ranch” follows Tempest’s latest single “Cha Cha Freestyle,” continuing her unapologetic ‘doing whatever I want’ attitude. Garnering support from Spotify’s R&B Weekly, R&B Rising, Fresh Finds R&B, Apple Music’s New in R&B and Day One playlists (and more), Tempest is a force to be reckoned with. With the release of the title track single, she also announces her upcoming sophomore EP, The Ranch. This project promises to solidify the self-proclaimed People’s Princess as a powerful and influential voice in today’s alternative scene, reclaiming her power and inspiring others to embrace their own.
The official music video, directed by Abdi Ibrahim, sets the scene for the two to carry out their wild west dreams, showcasing their spontaneous trip to The Ranch. The editorial-style visual captures the essence of doing whatever feels right in the moment, with bold makeup and fashion-forward style emphasizing freedom and self-expression.
The visual also takes place on an actual ranch and features a horse, further playing into the “Ranch” theme.
