Just over the weekend, East Nashville’s own, BIGOUTEAST released his new project, “Players Only II.” This project is a direct continuation of his first “Players Only” installment and a great showing of how he has lent his talents to expanding what Tennessee music sounds like.
One of the most polarizing things about this project is BIGOUTEAST’s ability to be a world-builder and not just an artist. This project has its own unique theme to it that makes it so memorable. It features a wide variety of tracks that delve into themes of embracing the grind while trying to rise to the top.
My personal favorites have to be “On a Shirt” & “Martin Pain.” These songs are the epitome of “get high, get fly music.” It’s honestly some of the most playa music to grace my ears in a very long time.
I think it’s very safe to say BIGOUTEAST is poised to be the next big star out of Nashville since Starlito. “Players Only II” changed my perception and is bound to change yours.
