On May 3rd, Richi Amiri & Highway hit NYC for a show at NYC’s famed Gramercy Theatre. Boston native

Rich Amiri is making waves in the Hip-Hop scene with a dynamic style similar to iconic Atlanta artists like Future, Lil Keed, and Young Thug.

Highway is putting on for Seattle with his own unique sound combining elements of Hip-Hop, RNB, Pop & Seattle’s signature Grime sound.
Highway opened up the packed out show performing hit tracks “I Used To” “Show Goes On” and even an unreleased track. Highway told us before the show that he wanted “the mosh pits go crazy” when he performs “We Can Go” and that was the case!
Before the show I wasn’t familiar with Rich but during the show I was able to see his stardom. Fans impatiently held the lights up on their phones as they counted down for Rich to hit the stage. As soon as he popped out, Rich had the show rocking the entire night.
What I took away from the show is that Rich Amiri and Highway have a solid fanbase that consists of young teens who enjoy “mosh pit” style music.
I left a fan of both Rich and Highway (even more) due to actually hearing them perform live and seeing how much the crowd was into their performances.
Check out some more photos from the event below and be on the lookout for an official interview with Highway dropping soon.
