Anyone from Atlanta can confirm Gucci Mane is damn near undefeated at finding music superstars. It’s almost crazy to think, that he was behind people like Thug, Dolph, and Migos before the world knew them. Another name that you now can add to that list is FTO Sett.
This rising Memphis artist took his talents to The New 1017 Records in late 2022 and hasn’t looked back since.
His newly released single, “CBFW” featuring Lil Baby confirms that he is truly destined for greatness.
With me not knowing much about FTO Sett beforehand, this single perfectly encapsulates what kind of artist he is. It’s apparent that FTO Sett and Lil Baby are cut from the same cloth in terms of their magnetism and hunger. I absolutely loved that they both murked their verses.
I also enjoyed the accompanying visual, which shows FTO Sett and Lil Baby in a “New Jack City”-type warehouse. The editing and the authenticity of the set design add another level of legitimacy to this hard-hitting track.
