Queen Naija Drops New Soulful EP ‘After The Butterflies’

One of the most exciting talents in the R&B world, Queen Naija, releases her EP ‘After The Butterflies’. The project follows singles, “No Fake Love (Feat. YoungBoy Never Broke Again)” and “Words Of Affirmation”. Both tracks are included on the 10-song set along an arsenal of other addictive anthems. The project also includes other feauters such as; Monica, Eric Bellinger, and Ella Mai.

The Queen initially wanted this project to be a full album, but she personally couldn’t wait to get ‘After The Butterflies’ out to her fans. She did not fail to disappoint one bit.

The EP kicks off with the beautiful “Fading Away”. Naija focuses more on the feeling of the track due to it originally being an interlude for the project, but the song was too long. Therefor, the track does not provide much words, but instead a beautiful and soulful vibe.

‘After The Butterflies’ is all about loving yourself and understanding your worth. This is more than evident on tracks such as; “Self-Love”, “Another Me”, and “Truth Is”. The Queen explains that it is important to love yourself before loving anyone else. Even after a relationship is over, it is important to understand one’s worth.

A part of understanding your worth is being able to instill confidence in ones self. Queen Naija does just that as she talks her talk on “No Fake Love”.

Overall, Queen Naija provides not only an anthem for the ladies, but anyone who has been through tough relationships and needs to find love within one’s self. It is for the people that want and need to understand their worth. Whether it’s giving to love someone else or yourself, Naija love’s love and that is felt throughout ‘After The Butterflies’.
