The New York Girls have been dropping nonstop this year. “Barbie World” is the latest collaboration to come from The Queens rapper Nicki Minaj and Ms. Princess Diana, Ice Spice. The new song is apart of the soundtrack for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie.
“Barbie World” is produced by TheRiotUSA and samples Aqua’s – “Barbie Girl”. The music video, which is directed by Hannah Lux Davis, literally represents everything Barbie. From the Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice Barbie dolls to the Barbie dream house and pink aesthetics throughout the video, Barbie World was the perfect name for this track.
“Barbie World” is the fourth single from Barbie the Album, following Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night,” Karol G’s “Watati,” and PinkPantheress’ “Angel.” The soundtrack and movie will release Friday, July 21.
The Queen, Nicki Minaj recently collaborated with the Princess, Ice Spice on “Princess Diana”.
