Seattle’s Kateel Makes A Mark With Second Release Of The Year “Lost”.
The Seattle rapper, songwriter, and producer, Kateel, returns for his second releases of February. His latest single “Lost” follows the release of “Sun Up”. Both singles serve as follow ups to his latest release of 2022, “Perfection”.
Kateel translates the rainy vibes of his hometown into eloquent, engaging, emotional, and entrancing music on “Lost”. The single is also accompanied by a visual.
As a child, Kateel was surrounded by music. With both his grandma singing around the house and being “the only kid who was always on key” in choir, Kateel was meant to be doing this. Therefor, Kateel then started to produce and record music with Nas as one of his inspirations.
Kateel then began to upload dozens of songs to soundcloud throughout high school. He eventually gained traction in 2017 with ‘Innocence is Ignorance’. After graduation, he grinded in LA and even endured homelessness, but that didn’t stop him.
He continued to make waves with ‘Mind Over Matters’ mixtape in 2020. As a result, songs “I Ain’t Forget” and “High Note” got synced with ESPN and ABC.
