Pittsburgh rapper Fedd the God released “Activated,” featuring Chevy Woods and Wiz Khalifa, the first single off of his new EP “Sense of Urgency.”
“Activated” featured the three Taylor gang artists bragging about their wealth and flexing on the competition. The instrumental with its bright synths sounds like modern trap imprints, but the whole song has a slight southern flair to it. Fedd, Woods, and Khalifa have great chemistry, with their flows complimenting each other but not sounding too much alike. They also match each other’s confident energy with their one-liners (“sippin’ on some sizzurp, almost hit the kizzurp”). “Activated” sets the tone for an energetic EP.
