New Jersey Artist And Lee Releases New Visual For “Sex Machine” Featuring Qu’ality
New Jersey native and first generation Korean-American R&B/Pop-Soul artist ANE (an acronym for “A New Era” and pronounced “Ann-nee”) recently released the official music video for her single “Sex Machine” featuring New York rapper Qu’ality. The record is produced by Malcolm Fong, and is apart of ANE’s new EP 1-800-FANTASY, which dropped Friday, July 24th via Calabasas Records.
“The director and I wanted the visuals for ‘Sex Machine’ to be inclusive, fun, and light-hearted,” ANE told PAPER. “We tried to embody the vibe of the song from different couples’ perspectives instead of my own. Luca Silveira’s style of directing is comical, campy and ironic. It was a pleasure working with him and his team.”
Being raised in a strict Korean-American ANE, grew up without a television for the better half of her childhood but that didn’t stop her from being inspired by music. Looking up to artist such as The Beatles, Stevie Wonder’ and TLC, ANE grew into a singer/songwriter that embodies a sheer contrast of contemporary and vintage sounds.
