Compton’s Jay Worthy Is Back With A New Project “Till The Morning” Featuring Shlohmo

Jay Worthy is a recording artist from Compton , California and one-half of the group LNDN DRGS. Although 2020 has been a weird year for just about everyone Jay Worthy has keep busy by delivering 3 projects so far this year. His latest effort, “Till The Morning” follows up “Two4one” & “Eat When You’re Hungry Sleep When You’re Tired“.

Jay Worthy has been consistent on giving us projects that are no longer than 7-8 tracks and “Till The Morning” follows suit. The 7 track project comes finishes up in 16:45 which sets up for a short yet enjoyable listen. The entire project is produced by Los Angeles producer Henry Laufer, better known by his stage name Shlohmo who is a founding member of the Los Angeles electronic music collective WeDidIt and has one feature from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony member Krayzie Bone.

‘Till The Morning’ is packed with jazz laden samples, and the funky vibes that we are used to hearing in a Jay Worthy project however, there is a mix of some electronic sounds from Shlohmo’s background in the genre. Jay Worthy spits confidently about his life as an rapper and women all while representing his ‘West Bompton’ neighborhood.
