The thought of figuring out who will represent the next generation of R&B artists has been pretty slim. However, this rising star from Brooklyn, New York is putting a stop to the phrase “R&B is dead”. In August 2019, Larein began her journey as an artist with the release of “Own It“. Music was a primitive part of who she became and her upbringing as her ethos as a musician. Since the release of her 8 track project “No Boundaries“, Larein’s artist versatility and vocal ability sound has been captivating and inviting.
Her being musically influenced by Brandy, Monica, Bryson Tiller, Kehlani, as well as the charisma of Rihanna and Cardi B can be felt throughout “No Boundaries”. The Haitian-American singer shares a little bit of her roots on her single “The Way You Move” featuring John Conception. However, from the beginning to the end of the project you can visualize Larein’s emotions throughout every track that takes you on a roll coaster of vibes.
