
Burna Boy Releases Official Music Video For Fan Favorite “Common Person”
Grammy award-winning, Burna Boy, releases the visual for fan favorite, “Common Person”. The single is apart of Burna Boy’s Grammy nominated album, ‘Love Damini’. The visual shows Burna Boy visiting an African village as he lends a helping hand cooking meals. He is also shown dancing and having a great time as the visual brings to life the humble undertone of the single.
In addition to the Grammy nomination for ‘Love Damini’, Burna Boy also received a Grammy nomination for “Last, Last”. The RIAA smash hit is nominated for Best Global Music Performance. This year marks Burna Boy’s 3rd straight year earning a nomination.
He was previously awarded with the Best Global Music Album for his previous project, ‘Twice as Tall’. The 65th annual Grammys take place February 5th, as Burna Boy looks to collect another Grammy.
Burna Boy continues to reach new heights with his sixth studio album marking his highest U.S. debut to date. ‘Love Damini’ not only did well on the Billboard 200, but also topped the Billboard U.S Afrobeats chart for eight weeks.
The album continues to grow internationally, as it has now reached the number two spot in the UK and Netherlands. As a result, the project became his highest charting album in those territories. The international growth doesn’t stop there with ‘Love Damini’ being number 1 on Apple Music in 47 different countries.
Not only does the album continue to grow, but so does Burna Boy as an artist.
