A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Preps Long-Anticipated Album “Me Vs. Myself”, Releases Roddy Rich-Assisted Single “B.R.O. (Better Ride Out)”
It’s been nearly two full years since chart-topping A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie dropped his platinum-certified album “Artist 2.0.”, and to fans’ excitement, we’re only a few weeks away from the arrival of his next full-length studio effort “Me vs. Myself” on November 4th. There have been few updates since the announcement of the album in early September, but all that changed with the recent release of “B.R.O. (Better Ride Out)“, featuring Roddy Rich – planned to ramp up excitement as we approach the release date.

As a first single, particularly after such a long absence, I’m confident A Boogie fans will find a lot to like about this one. The Bronx-bred artist style is evident on this track, including the melancholic melodies over piano keys, and Roddy Ricch’s typical blend of hip-hop’s regional sensibilities fits right in. For different reasons, each artist has something to prove in this current hip-hop landscape, and only time will tell how successful this single is in not only touching A Boogie’s usual fans, but crossing over and getting other listeners excited.
This also isn’t their first collaboration, having teamed up on past tracks like 2019’s “Tip Toe” as well as 2020’s “Numbers” and “Lost My Soul”, highlighting the genuine synergy and friendship between both artists. It makes sense that as A Boogie prepares his reintroduction, he’ll lean on previous collaborators to launch what will surely be his most interesting release to date.
