Doechii Declares Her Pronouns With New EP “she/ her/ black b*tch”

The newly signed Top Dawg Entertainment artist is upholding everything bold, black, and feminine with the release of her new EP ‘she/her/black bitch’. Executive produced by Anthony Tiffith and his Jr., the project arrives with guest features from Rico Nasty, Jst Ray, and labelmate SZA.

Doechii’s multifaceted artistry is very well complemented from the varying production amongst the tracks. She brings a quicker momentum and prideful bars on the EP’s second track “Bitch I’m Nice”. Immediately followed by the hazy “Bitches Be”, listeners can enjoy her pleasant tones as she coos about women who make her nauseous.

“I decided to take ownership of the ‘black bitch’ and title my EP she/ her/ black bitch and reclaim that motherf***ing power,” Doechii says. ”So if you’ve ever been put down for being yourself, just remember you’re powerful and unapologetic- these songs are for you.” Production credits include Hit-Boy, Bankroll Got It, and Kal Banx.

2022 brought Doechii several honors including a spot on the XXL Freshmen list as well as well as placements as an “Artist to Watch” for Rolling Stone, NPR, Complex, FADER, and more.

Listen to ‘she/her/black bitch’ on all major streaming platforms.
