Femcee Che Noir Is Redefining The Nostalgic East Coast Sound.

Raised in Buffalo, New York, Che Noir is a gifted lyricist, receiving praise from both new and old hip-hop heads which is generally a tough feat to accomplish. She has carved her own lane away from the mainstream female rap sound, tapping into her 90s East Coast rap roots. Noir started her music journey making beats in high school but soon transitioned into writing.

Her raw and conscious lyricism paints vivid pictures of her personal hardships carried over smoothly aggressive beats— many of them produced by her.

The 27-year-old initially gained traction in 2020 with the release of her debut mixtape “Poetic Thoughts”, securing the interest of fellow Buffalo, New York artists Benny the Butcher and 38 Spesh, subsequently releasing music with the two. In 2020, she released breakthrough album “As God Intended“, with legendary Detroit producer Apollo Brown.

Noir brought in the New Year appropriately with “Table For 3”, reserving seats for 38 Spesh and Karson. On the self produced track, Noir’s delivery is bold and earnest as she harps on the harsh realities of being a young Black American.

Her gritty flows and crime driven storylines are fitting. Which are direct influences from here favorite artist Foxy Brown, Jay-Z and The Notorious B.I.G.

Che Noir’s upcoming project Food For Thought is set to release on January 21st. Check out her latest release “Table For 3” below.
