Ebhoni | Reps for Toronto Baddies with New Album

As the summer comes to a close, the wave of sonic heat continues with Ebhoni’s newest album. Channeling all the BAD GYAL vibes, she’s dishing out a seamless fusion of island energy and R&B titled “Good Dick & Weed”. It’s a compilation of the late night. Connecting of dots, experiences, texts, and diary entries, are woven into lyrics to create the waviest atmosphere. Deemed FLAUNT’s “favorite new R & B artist”… We couldn’t agree more that Ebhoni is the deliverer of a whole new realm of the genre.

Bouncy percussion, smooth undertones, and this queens powerful vocals, flood the entire project. Bars from Jamaican rap star Beam, and production from heavyweight producer FORTHENIGHT on “Rotation,” top-off the ten tracks of sonic gold. From Toronto through and though… She brings to life her Caribbean upbringing with a heavy dose of rare realness.

I really have been through so much, and it’s important to show that to help others who might not have that platform.”

Her childhood on West road placed her in a house with heavy foot traffic from her father selling drugs. No stranger to difficult times… In her track “If You Know You Know, she recants a moment where her family’s car was shot by 6 bullets and she had to move to her grandmother’s. Vulnerability and the nostalgic essence of the mixtape days, generate a euphoric soundscape new to the current R&B space… Ebhoni left no stone unturned in her newest gift to listeners.

Her talent goes far beyond her powerful vocals and fearlessness. With much more to give, Ebhoni has seen a slew of other mentions from top publications including Pitchfork and Office Magazine.

Ebhoni also released a new visual for “Rotation” today.
