Dave East and Harry Fraud Tease New Project ‘Hoffa’ W/ “Diamonds” Visual
Hip-Hop has seen its’ fair share of timeless rapper-producer duos. From Snoop and Dre to Blu and Exile, such collaborative efforts have gifted some of the genre’s best works. But now joining forces is Harlem rapper Dave East and super-producer Harry Fraud. Titled ‘Hoffa’, the highly anticipated album will premier July 30th.
In anticipation of the release, the two unleashed a single from the project titled “Diamonds“. Vintage synthesizers serve as the crisp underlay for East’s strategic flow. In essence of raw Hip-Hop, Dave East spits dexterously about being the master of his destiny. Heavy-hitters adding bars to the project include Benny the Butcher, G Herbo, Curren$y, Jim Jones, among others.
Early summer, East collaborated with Westside Gunn for the artwork. A maffia-esque oil painting, curated by Gunn and his Buffalo Kids Collective, was unveiled at an in-store event at the Walden Galleria in Buffalo, NY. Nonetheless, the reveal spoke volumes for what is to come with ‘Hoffa,’ and his influence on the city.

Slowing down is a foreign language to the two master minds. Between running his imprint From the Dirt, and his flourishing career on-screen… Dave East has been expanding across all areas of the industry. As for Harry Fraud, the prolific producer continues to solidify a place any “Producer of the Year” ballot. With his preceding collaborations with Benny The Butcher’s and Jim Jones, grime and bass heavy synths are expected from Fraud. So, it is that expectation that leads to his continual serving of the perfect backgrounds for elite lyricism. Furthermore, ‘Hoffa’ will be a notch on the belts of both creators, and an eloquent addition to the entire genre.
