Cole, Jermaine Dupri, and Big Pooh… Now standing on the cusp of rising stardom is Charlotte’s rising star DEVN. With summer approaching listeners are craving bangers for all occasions. DEVN is unleashing heat with a new visual for his debut hit ‘Freak Freak’.

Who is DEVN

Born Devin Christopher Mitchell, the multi-faceted creative posses skills across the board from singing and rapping to production. Seamlessly blending todays popular genres of R&B, Trap, and Pop, his years of developed skill shines through his flow and lyrics. Growing up in North Carolina, he began singing in the church choir and playing piano. Attending Charlotte’s New Life Arts Middle School brought him a mentorship with Hall of Fame Gospel singer and pastor John P. Kee. The young prodigy quickly made his way into the prestigious Northwest School of The Arts for high school rounding out his his education and developed skill.

St. Luke St.

Forthcoming July 21st is his self-engineered debut EP ‘St Luke St’. Titled after the street he grew up on… The tape will be a culmination of unwritten tracks resulting in a rumination about love and romantic experiences during his formative years. DEVN was able to record without penned lyrics, rather drawing from journaled experiences over his life thus far.
