[WATCH] Chicago & NYC Link Up IN King Von’s New Visual For “I Am What I AM” Featuring Fivio Foreign

Chicago & New York Hip-Hop are tied together through the sub-genre “Drill”. Back in 2010 a new style of music was starting to bubble in Chicago’s inner city. Drill quickly took over the rap scene. It’s style spread across the country and began to have an influence over the sound of rap.

Fast forward a few years later and the drill sound had began to take life in NYC. Although the cities may have it’s similarities the music is entirely different. However, those differences didn’t stop two of the hottest artist out of both Chicago & NYC to collaborate. King Von & Fivio Foreign link up for “I Am What I Am”.

Keeping up the tradition of fire NYC & Chicago Hip-Hop collaborations, Von & Fivio deliver a hype track over some NYC drill production.

Earlier King Von tweeted out that his album “Welcome To O’Block” is slated to drop on October 30th.

If “I Am What I Am” is a sample of what to expect on Von’s project, I am excited.
