Kodie Shane Links Up With Trippie Redd For “No Rap Kap”

Kodie Shane is starting the new year off on a great foot. Not only is the young Atlanta star going on tour with Trippie Redd & Bloccboy JB she just released her first visual of the year “No Rap Kap” featuring Trippie Redd.

“Over the years, Trippie and I have always had a crazy creative space,” Kodie tells The FADER. “It’s ever growing and super organic with no real destination in mind… I can truly say we trust one another in the studio and that’s so rare. In my opinion, this is a great representation of both of our styles collided. We’ve created a lot of shit, but this joint walks us into another realm.”

In the Azzie Scott-directed video Kodie & Trippie are picked up by the “No Kap Force” & interrogated similar to Caine & O-Dog in the 90’s classic film Menace II Society. The visual is shot in a dim setting which resembles the personalities of both Kodie & Trippie.

“No Rap Kap” isn’t the first time the two have made a connection. Back in 2018 Kodie & Trippie linked for fan favorite “Love & Drugz II” & my personal favorite collab between the two “Negative Energy”.

With a slew of projects slated to release in the new year I don’t expect this to be the last collab between the the melodic artits.
