The Bronx’s E.Guavo Returns To Form On New Single “Came Thru” f/ Supreme Carl
It’s been three years since the release of E.Guavo’s first and only track Count It , Picking up where he has let off, Brooklyn’s E.Guavo returns with his new track CAME THRU featuring fellow New York rapper Supreme Carl . At 2 minutes and 15 seconds, the dynamic between these two shines bright as they effortlessly deliver a banger.
Guavo’s laid back demeanor and flow seem to work marvelously with the up-tempo, bass heavy production. He delivers the first three bars of the chorus “So turnt up! / So piped Up! / Wildin for the night yeah!/ , a catchy and infectious ear-worm serving as a clear indicator that having fun is a priority.
Foretelling a future filled with lavish cars, designer clothes, and not a care in the world for anything else. “Don’t try to talk to me bitch it’s too late! / Pull-up in that ghost then I pull up in that wraith / Now you don’t know what to say”
Supreme Carl comes through delivering a nice 16 bar verse exuberating confidence and swagger, letting the audience know how easy it all comes to him. “Nigga I’m talking cash/ Nigga you ain’t never talking bags/ Shit too easy!” By the end of the track, you’ll be spamming the play button itching for more.
However with only 2 tracks uploaded on SoundCloud but a vast amount of listeners, it will be interesting to see what Guavo does next. Will he go on another 3 year hiatus, or is something much greater in the works? Listen to CAME THRU and Count It below!
